ingredients
frozen seasoned potato wedges - I like to use McCain potato wedges but feel free to use your favorite brands!
Frozen wedges normally come seasoned so you do not need to add any more seasoning. Should you use plain frozen potatoes, then add a teaspoon of salt or chip spice, as well as 1-2 tablespoons of cooking oil when air frying (optional).

serving suggestions
When it comes to serving air fryer frozen wedges, the list of combinations is endless. My favorites include:-
- vegetables - try serving them with vegetables such as this hearty marinara sauce, asparagus, air fryer green beans, or a salad, such as this tasty German celeriac salad (Selleriesalat).
- burgers - these air fryer frozen hamburgers or air fryer frozen turkey burgers recipes are a good start.
- chicken wings cooked in all sorts of ways! I love mine served with some air fried chicken wings!
- steaks and un-breaded pork chops.
- and not to forget, your favorite dipping sauces, such as ketchup, barbecue sauce, mayo or some no-mayo honey mustard sauce!
storing and reheating instructions
Allow the cooked potato wedges to cool, then transfer them to a suitable airtight container. They will keep in the fridge for 3-5 days.
And just like with air fryer frozen chips (French fries for those of you who choose to call them that, lol), you can freeze and reheat the cooked wedges. I, however, do not recommend it as cooked wedges tend to turn mushy and grainy upon thawing. Also bear in mind the platinum rule which is, you do not want to refreeze previously frozen food, without cooking it first.
Now that we have that out of the way, here is how to go about reheating the wedges:-
- Place the wedges inside your air fryer.
- Spray them with a little bit of oil then shake your basket to combine.
- Set the temperature of your air fryer to 356°F/ 180°C.
- Air fry for 5-7 minutes or until properly warmed through, increasing the time in 2-minute increments if necessary, until warmed through.
- Once warm, serve immediately.
frequently asked questions
Potato wedges require 20 minutes to cook, at a temperature of 356°F (180°C). This will however depend on how thick or thinly sized the potatoes are, as well as the size, brand, and watts of your air fryer. For this reason, always keep an eye on the food and adjust the time accordingly, if necessary.
