    Notes

    Storing leftover air-fried croutons
    • Kept in suitable airtight containers, these homemade air fryer croutons can be stored for up to two weeks, but taste best within the first 2-5 days. Keep leftover croutons in a ziploc bag or an airtight container in a cool and dry place in your kitchen. Avoid keeping them in the fridge, as they will not stay crunchy this way.
    • To freeze, keep them in Ziploc bags and transfer them to the freezer. They will keep for 4-6 weeks. Just bear in mind that the croutons may be soggy upon thawing which shouldn’t be a problem as you can quickly refresh them by air frying them for a few minutes.
