salt - optional(or any seasoning for French fries or potato wedges)
1-2tablespooncooking oil or a non-aerosol cooking spray(optional)
Instructions
Place frozen potato wedges in the air fryer basket in one even layer, making sure not to stack or overcrowd the basket. Spray with a bit of cooking oil (optional). If using unseasoned frozen wedges, season with salt or your favorite potato seasoning. Cook in batches, if necessary. (See notes).
Place the basket inside the air fryer, set the time to 10 minutes, and air fry at 356°F (180°C). Shake the basket or flip the potato wedges every 5 minutes to redistribute the wedges and ensure an even cooking.
Air fry for a further 10 minutes, or until crispy outside and cooked through inside.
Once cooked, transfer the wedges to a plate and serve with your favorite dipping sauces, chicken wings, steak, salad or your favorite mains.
Notes
If using plain frozen potato wedges, stir in a teaspoon of salt, chip spice, or your favorite French fries seasoning. You can also spray them with some cooking oil before air frying.
Do not overcrowd the potatoes in the basket, and make sure to flip them or shake your basket halfway through the cooking time.
The instructions above are for fully frozen potato wedges cooked in an air fryer that has not been preheated. Shorten the cooking time by 5 minutes if using a preheated air fryer.
This recipe was made using the Ninja Foodi Air Fryer and Multi-cooker. Different air fryers cook differently so always check mid-cooking and adjust the time accordingly.
