Make yourself some refreshing and delicious carrot, ginger, and turmeric juice with orange! This juice is easy to make, has several health benefits, and is paleo-friendly.
1cuporange juice(homemade and/or with no added sugar)
5gramsginger(about ½ a thumb size)
½teaspoonturmeric
1cupwater
honey to taste (optional)
Instructions
Wash and peel the carrots then chop them up into large chunks.
Add the carrots, ginger, orange juice, water, turmeric, and honey (optional) to your blender and process until smooth. Feel free to add some more water or orange juice, if the juice is too thick or if you are not using a high-speed blender. Sieve the juice using a sieve and a spoon, or use a muslin/kitchen cloth for a smoother juice. Alternatively, leave it as it is if you prefer your juice pulpy.
8 small carrots, 1 cup orange juice, 5 grams ginger, ½ teaspoon turmeric, 1 cup water, honey to taste
Stir, pour into glasses and serve immediately. You can also chill this carrot, ginger, and turmeric juice in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, to enjoy later.
Notes
Make it using a juicer as follows:-
Clean the carrots properly. I like to use a vegetable brush. Slice the carrots into small chunks and fit them into the chute of your juicer.
Push the carrots and ginger through your juicer and process until smooth. Add the orange juice, turmeric, and honey to the processed juice, then use a spoon to combine.
Strain through a sieve or muslin cloth or simply serve it pulpy, and enjoy!

Fruit and vegetable variations - try adding in some apple, pineapple, beetroot, and celery, as a variation.
Peeling - peeling the carrots is not necessary but make sure to wash them properly if you decide to use them unpeeled.
Storage - this juice can be made ahead of time and safely stored in sanitized bottles in the refrigerator for two to five days. It can also be kept in the freezer for 10-12 months.
