Fried Goat Cheese
This fried goat cheese and herbs is a simple and tasty appetizer or snack. Delicious goat cheese is topped with honey and herbs, then pan-fried, all without breading.

Ingredients

goat cheese - approximately 170g
3
tablespoon
honey
a
few sprigs
fresh rosemary
few sprigs
fresh or dried thyme
Instructions
Slice the goat cheese into evenly sized rounds or pieces (about ½ inch, approximately 1.25cm).
Heat a non-stick skillet or pan over medium heat; no need to add oil.
Place the goat cheese slices in the skillet and fry the bottom side for 30 seconds to a minutes, or until golden brown (see notes below).
While the bottom cooks, drizzle honey over the top side and sprinkle with fresh thyme and rosemary.
Carefully flip the slices and cook the honey-topped side for another 30 seconds to a minute, or until caramelized.
Transfer the fried goat cheese to a plate, drizzle with more honey, and serve immediately.
Notes
How quickly the goat cheese requires to get crispy will depend on the heat of your stove.
