Air Fryer Whole Beetroot in Foil
Air-fried whole beets in foil are easy to make, tender, and full of flavor. This simple method gives you perfectly cooked beetroots every time.

- 4 medium fresh beets any variety
- 1 to 2 tablespoon olive oil
- salt to taste and some pepper, optional
Wash the beets thoroughly and trim the tops and root ends. Pat dry.
Place the beets on a large sheet of aluminium foil. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper if preferred.
Wrap the foil tightly to form a sealed packet.
Preheat the air fryer to 190°C or 380°F.
Place the foil packet in the basket and cook for 40-45 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center slides in easily.
Remove from the air fryer and allow to cool slightly before handling.
Peel if desired, then slice and serve.
