Air Fryer Honey Mustard Salmon

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets 4–8 oz each, about 115 - 230 g
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2-3 cloves minced garlic (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for 5 minutes.
  • Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

  • In a small bowl, whisk honey, Dijon mustard, garlic, onion powder, paprika, and lemon juice until smooth.

  • Brush the glaze over the top of each salmon fillet. For the best flavor, marinate the fish in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

  • Place salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, skin-side down.

  • Air fry at 200°C (390°F) for 7- 9 minutes depending on the thickness, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Ensure the fish has reached an internal temperature of at least 145°F (63°C) before serving.

Notes

  • Use an internal read thermometer to check whether your fish is safe to eat - salmon is safe to eat once it reaches an internal temperatue of 145°F (63°C).
