You will need:- all-purpose flour, milk, heavy cream, butter, an egg, sugar, vinegar, apricot jam, vanilla extract, some salt, baking powder and baking soda.

- Start by preheating your oven. - In a bowl, combine sugar, egg, butter, apricot jam, and vanilla until well combined.

To the bowl, sieve in the flour, baking powder and baking soda. Add the milk and vinegar and combine until you get a smooth batter.

Step 3:-

Add the batter to an ovenproof baking dish and bake until the pudding is no longer runny in the middle, is well risen and golden brown on top.

Make the malva pudding sauce. In a saucepan, whisk heavy whipping cream, butter, sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of salt until the sauce comes to a boil.
