- prepare the broth; to a deep saucepan, add water, the chicken, onion, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, and salt.
-allow to cook, sieve and set the broth aside.
- next, stir in the molokhia leaves, salt, bouillon cube, allspice and saute for a few minutes. Add the broth, and allow everything to cook under medium heat.
- once cooked, stir in the lemon juice, and allow to cook for a few more minutes.
- serve your Mloukhieh with Lebanese rice or your favorite side dishes.
